This category covers innovative research across the diverse spectrum of biological sciences, from molecular and cellular biology to organismal and ecological studies. We welcome manuscripts that explore the mechanisms of life at all scales—genetic, biochemical, physiological, and behavioral—with a focus on advancing fundamental understanding as well as practical applications.

Areas of interest include molecular biology, genetics and genomics, cell signaling, developmental biology, microbiology, immunology, evolutionary biology, and biotechnology. Studies using cutting-edge tools such as CRISPR, omics technologies, imaging techniques, and systems biology approaches are particularly encouraged. Research that bridges biology with other scientific disciplines—such as bioinformatics, biophysics, synthetic biology, and biomedical engineering—is also within scope.

We seek contributions that offer novel insights into living systems and foster a deeper understanding of the biological principles that underpin health, disease, adaptation, and biodiversity.
